some of my rarities bloomed with a breath forgotten.

this path has beaten me.
every chain that clinked around my little wrists wound up reaching for
another something I'm never supposed to do. knee deep in taboo water
something inside me yanks me forward. now I'm taking a breath,
smiling, running toward a sunset and a sea that says,
"you are finally weightless, so float."
